My students are on vacation and I don't have anything to do at my visiting school. Can I just stay at my base school??
A lot of ALTs can arrange to stay at their base school if they don't have any work to do at their visiting school. However, this rule isn't absolute. Even if you don't have class, or you feel like you don't have any work to do at the school, your visiting school can request that you keep coming there on your scheduled days. Please be patient and try to make the best use of your time there if this is the case.
