Welcome to Toyama!

Welcome to Toyama and the Toyama JET community! Whether you are preparing for your arrival or already settling into life here, we hope this website can serve as a helpful starting point for navigating daily life, teaching, travel, and community in Toyama. From local guides and important resources to events and recommendations from current and former ALTs, this site is designed to support incoming and current JET participants throughout their time in Japan.
We are currently beginning the 2026 revamp of the Toyama JET website and will be continuously updating and improving resources over the coming months. If you notice any broken pages, outdated information, or features that are not working correctly, please contact us at toyamapa@gmail.com
